So you have been eyeing a pair of shoes at your local athletic store for quite some time. These are the shoes you want to train in and get in shape in. You have the right size, the right color and the right feel when you put them on but there is just one problem: you cant afford the price. Let’s face it, gym shoes are not always the cheapest thing you can buy in a department store. This is when it hits you like a ton of bricks: you decide to go online and order the same pair of shoes for half the price. You think you really got them for once but then something happens. You get the shoes in the mail and they aren’t at all what you had your eye on in the department store.
You feel like a fool and that you wasted your money but the truth is stuff like this happens all the time. There are more than a few mix-ups that occur online. This is just part of the business and just par for the course. The reason this happens is for two reasons:
1. It’s a shop that is trying to scam you. It’s sad that shops like these exist but the fact of the matter is that they are far too common online. They know putting a top brand item there for a discounted price will grab your attention but it will also make it so that you are susceptible to getting hustled out of your money.
2. A simple error. Companies make mistakes and sometimes the graphic department makes a mistake. The good news about these is that someone will always be ready and willing to help you out.
So the only thing you can do to avoid this problem in the future is to make sure that you are as careful as possible.
